I have a plot in the local community garden. I decided to try something a bit different so I planted some wheat. It is odd that wheat is such a central cereal in our culture but I have never really seen it grow before.

The whole laser pointer and motion sensor aspect of the Wii controller is interesting, but I feel it has a major flaw; repetitive motion pain. Playing a game for hours on end can hurt your hands. The best controllers require a minimum amount of motion for the sake of your hands. I am afraid that the slashing, swinging and casting of the Wii controller will hurt peoples hands over time. It’s like Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero is a great game and has a great peripheral but it cannot be played for long periods of time before your hand falls off. I think the controller may turn the Wii into a diversion. A game you pick up a fiddle with for at most an hour and then push in a corner.
